According to MBT spokesperson Md Amjedullah Khan Khaled, the gathering will feature Hazrat Moulana Mufti Mohammed Miyan Qadeeri, Sajjada Nasheen of Khanqah-e-Osmania Qadeeria, Pilibhit Shareef, Uttar Pradesh, and Prof Dr Hafeez-ur-Rahman, Professor at JNTU, Delhi, and founder of the Sufi Peace Foundation, along with several other prominent Islamic scholars. He said the initiative was started in 1993 by MBT founder late Mohammad Amanullah Khan Sahab with the objective of taking the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to people belonging to different sects and religions. He said the annual meeting had sought to promote peace, tolerance, mutual respect, brotherhood and communal harmony in Hyderabad. The MBT said elaborate arrangements were being made for the smooth conduct of the programme, which traditionally attracts a large gathering. Separate seating arrangements have also been made for women. Amjedullah Khan appealed to Muslims to participate in the meeting in large numbers and listen to the addresses by the visiting Islamic scholars. | Amjed Ullah Khan
